Shooting

Guns and shooting are an innate part of my culture. We shoot for sport, we hunt, and we protect our families with firearms.

I have built a few firearms, two of which I'm especially proud of: a short barrel .300 blackout AR pistol for primary home defense, and a customized Ruger American Predator for Long Range Shooting.

Long Range Shooting

I've developed a knack for shooting long range, first in a class from Long Range Shooters of Utah where I learned the basics of long range shooting, with coaching to hit a target at 1,000 yards. (My review here)

Then taking that instruction and reaching out to hit a milk jug sized target at 1 mile, one of my proudest achievements!

3D Printed Suppressor

This video shows the performance of my 3d printed suppressor, being fired by a good friend of mine. The improvements provided by the suppressor would be further magnified by using subsonic ammunition. I plan to develop and handload custom ammo for this application.

I also plan to continue tweaking the suppressor design to make it smaller and stronger. Recent changes to ATF rules have this project on hold for now, and I'm hopeful these changes will make my development process easier and cheaper! Tax Stamps are expensive!

Reloading

Handloading is a major aspect to repeatable precision. Factory ammo is good, and match ammo has come a long way, but there's still nothing quite like reloading your own brass! I've reloaded everything from 9mm to 6.5 Creedmoor.
